CROAK IT
It is a free online platform where students can express themselves using their voice instead of text, which is quite boring. Every unique voice stamp is called a croak on the platform.
Croaks have a wide variety of uses, depending on the user! From personal messages to picture tagging to holidays wishes, a croak can allow your students to make it much personal than a text box and 26 letters. The most awesome feature being you can croak anywhere on the internet!
Students will love practising speaking with this amazing and fun tool! You can make them practise speaking through any topic sending messages...
Students can also share their croaks through facebook, Twitter and other social networks! They can also listen to other audios.
However, you must be careful! There are too many audios that maybe will not be useful or appropiate for your students! If you want them to listen to any audio, first you have to assess if it is suitable or not.
Listen to an audio from the series "Friends" in which Joey explains the meaning of "A Moo Point."

PODOMATIC
This is a website especialized in the creation of tools and services that enable users to easily find, create, distribute, promote and listen to both audio and video podcasts.
What is a Podcast?
It is a type of digital media consisting of an episodic series of audio radio, video, among others, suscribed to and downloaded through web syndication or streamed online to a computer or mobile device.
An outstanding point is that podcasts are classified into different topics such as education, arts, comedy, and many others. You can use podscasts to work with a specific topic, to check listening comprehension and later on you can ask your students to make their own podcast! They can work alone or in groups.
Students can also make minicasts, which allow you to combine photos with an audio track to create a video slideshow. You can share your minicast with friends on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and beyond. The following is the full playlist of podcasts by the Scottish Poetry Library:
Your students will find these tools fun and interesting. It is an awsome way to motivate your students to work in a collaborative way. Besides, they are free!

LYRICS TRAINING
In this page you can find a fun way to develop listening skills through entertaining lyrics with exercises, in which students listen to the song, watch the video and fill in the blanks with a few words, several words or the whole song, depending on their level. We find this very interesting because it can please different likes and each student can choose videos of their favourite singers. Alternatively, students can sing along in the Karaoke mode!

VOXOPOP
This is a tool oriented to students and teachers. Voxopop allows you to create talkgroups which can be used for practising and learning a language. Although it is organized like a chat room, it uses voice messages instead of text.
The advantage of this site is that teachers can create a room for their students, where students can send messages to their partners. A disadvantage is that the messages can't be sent in real-time and it can be a bit boring
because students have to record any message that they want to deliver first.

NURSERY SONGS AND RHYMES
In the BBC free webpage teachers can find different sources to practice listening and speaking skills. There is a vast amount of listening for all ages and levels.
We found the "nursery songs and rhymes" particularly interesting. They are within the section called "School Radio". There teachers can find audio resources for primary schools from "Listen and Play" and "Playtime", both of which provide podcasts available for download.
These songs are excellent to motivate young learners to learn vocabulary about numbers, animals, and healthy habits, among others. Futhermore, each song has video that students can watch and enjoy. You can also print the lyrics!
We hope you find it useful for your classes. For sure, your children will love these songs!
